The income
tax return for non residents is on its way

The model of
the income tax return for non resident individuals for 2005 income
has been finalised. It was published in the Belgian State Gazette of
14 November 2006.
This is
important news for the more than 40.000 expatriate families. They can
expect their tax returns in the coming weeks. The rumour on the
street is that the tax returns will have to be filed before 8 January
2007, but that may be later since the tax authorities have to give
taxpayers five weeks to file their returns.
